Psalm 19

The heavens declare your glory

O Lord, the heavens declare your glory
The skies proclaim the work of your hands.
The sun, moon, planets, stars, clouds, rain and snow
They speak and show knowledge of you
They speak to all people everywhere - to the ends of the earth.

Lord, your law is perfect, it revives my soul.
Your statutes are trustworthy, making me wise
Your precepts are right, giving joy to my heart.
Your commands are radiant, giving light to my eyes.
I fear, know and respect you Lord.
Your ordinances are sure and righteous.
More precious than gold and sweeter than honey.
Lord, help me to read, follow and obey your word.  Let me drink it in and meditate on it, so I can absorb its riches.  Help me to make time to do so.

Lord, please forgive my hidden faults.
                Keep me from wilful sin
Help me to be blameless, innocent of transgression.

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
                be pleasing in your sight,
O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
